When Breaking the Rules Works.

So in class we talk a lot about guidelines we should follow in our design and writing. I know these are just tips to follow, and that sometimes not following them can work, if you make it happen. I mentioned a blog I follow in class where the blogger writes on her images. I absolutely love her work and thought I should share a few of her pictures with you. She sometimes writes around the shapes of the images, sometimes across them, and sometimes on vectors. Her images are clean, polished and lovely. Here are some of them:

I just think these examples are so perfect for how to do the unexpected, yet stay within your own design style. I want to master this!
